michael reardon

Michael Reardon is the creative director and owner of Fieldtrip.

Michael’s design, illustration, and advertising work has been recognized in Wired Magazine, the International Typography Show Archive, Print, and Communication Arts. and the local Portland Advertising Federation Rosey awards.

Prior to starting Fieldtrip, Michael worked in Singapore and in Hong Kong, as well as a summer-long post in Nihzhny Novgorod, Russia.

He has lectured and has been published in the U.S. and abroad, and has taken extensive trips to, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cuba, Indonesia, Serbia, the Philippines and the People’s Republic of China.

Michael has been an Adjunct Professor of Design at Portland State University, on and off since 1990.

As a student at the Cleveland Institute of Art he received the Angus Gund Scholarship for travel abroad, studied art in Europe for four months, and earned his BFA in 1981.
